Finnish interactive yoga platform Yoogaia successfully closed their crowdfunding round via FundedByMe at €100K in June. Only three months later they succeeded to attract one of the leading venture capital firms in the Nordics, Inventure, and raised €500K for further development and expansions.
”Our mission is to provide a financial service that creates a stair for the companies to climb upwards in the eco system of funding”, says Daniel Daboczy, CEO and co-founder of FundedByMe. “That Yoogaia received this investment is a proof that equity crowdfunding is a trustworthy and effective tool to validate an idea, a team or an execution.”
The Finnish case can hopefully lead the way for Danish VC´s and BA´s to realise the potential in co-investing with the crowd to create powerful Danish start-ups.
